Major challenges facing the participants USA Pro Challenge in Colorado, United States. Not just because of the seven stage race held in the altitude, but also variations tiring track. Organizers will ensure many events going on throughout the race which starts on Monday.
Mirroring the last year, the general classification change of leadership occurred at almost every stage. Even the title can only be determined through the last race in the form of individual time trial (ITT) in Denver. ITT results that make Christian Vande Velde (Garmin-Sharp) ahead 21 seconds over Tejay van Garderen (BMC) in the general classification.
Path through which the USA Pro Challenge this year is actually almost the same as that contested last year.
There are still two climbs are in the second stage (Aspen-Breckenridge) and fourth stage (Steamboat Springs-Beaver Creek). But competition will remain tight and tiring on the other line.
Organizers to change the route ITT. This time is no longer traverse ITT circuit in the city of Denver, but a path 16 kilometers in Vail. Denver has remained a point last stage when the riders traverse the circuit in which the city passed in eight rounds.
"We have set the path for a professional cycling's greatest event. Route growing every edition, the competition is getting tougher," said Shawn Hunter CEO of the USA Pro Challenge.
Hunter said there is nothing easy in every race day. Although not climb stage, first stage, the third and the sixth presents a challenging route. There are no steep climbs, but it is difficult to get a moment of rest because there is a heavy rolling lines.
"Each day means a different challenge, which will make the competition more interesting race. This year would seem to be the best organization of this event," said Hunter.
USA Pro Challenge race will traverse areas varying heights. Location of the start and finish at the 2013 edition took place at a point higher than the highest peak of the Tour de France. Physical riders thoroughly tested, considering the cold temperatures and thin oxygen for most of the race.
"The most important thing for us is to create a safe race track as well as challenging for the drivers. At the same time also provide scenic location ideal for the audience," said Hunter. So, thank you for reading this article.
