Give Gifts for European Cities most innovative .
Towards the end of his term , New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg held a contest in relation to government .
Politicians who started his career as a businessman is promising prizes totaling USD 12 million ( about Rp.135 , 11 billion ) for the government of innovative European cities .

This year Bloomberg Philanthropies has awarded prizes USD 9 million ( approximately Rp.101 , 3 billion ) to five U.S. cities whose governments assessed friendly community . Bloomberg is now hoping to find the same model in Europe .
The contest received a positive response from European leaders , particularly the mayor .
"The city has an important role in the recovery process of European cities that are trying to get up , " said Mayor Matteo Renzi of Florence city , Italy , in a written statement .
